Online Classified Sites

I use classified websites such as Condo.com, GVRD.com, Craigslist, Kijiji, Backpage.com, Inetgiant, BuySell, Oodle, iSell.com and even eBay to draw attention to your home.  These sites generate enormous web traffic and all of my ads are designed to either specifically advertise your home, an Open House taking place at your home or my website RobertMcLean.ca where your home will be featured


YouTube

Online Video is powerful.  Correctly positioned, an online video on YouTube and other video sharing sites like Metacafe, Viddler, Revver and Google Video will expose your home to thousands of potential buyers


Twitter

Twitter is the latest and greatest in social media.  I have hundreds of followers with more added every day.  I'll "Tweet" about your home on my Twitter page.  You can follow me on Twitter too.  Just go to www.twitter.com/robmclean


Facebook

What more can I say about Facebook other than it is one of the largest Social Media sites on the web right now.  I'm on Facebook and so will be your home

I'm sure you've noticed the paid advertising along the right hand side of your computer screen when you search on Google...I pay to promote www.RobertMcLean.ca with Google Adsense ads.  Your home will be featured on RobertMcLean.ca and thus benefit from my paid advertising.  Additionally, I will create a Google Ad campaign just for your home

In addition to online marketing, my team and I also use some of the tried and true traditional home marketing methods such as:


Professional Photos

We've all heard how a photo says a thousand words. When I sell a home, I only want it to say two...BUY ME! When only the best will do:

 I will… have a professional photographer take the maximum amount of digital pictures of your home and submit them to the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board and the MLS.ca website. With certain homes I’ll also have a virtual tour available for potential buyers to view. For Sale Sign

I will... install a HOME FOR SALE sign on the lawn and directional arrows throughout the neighbourhood.  Research conducted by the National Association of Realtors suggests that the traditional white sign posts get better results than the smaller metal framed signs so I will exclusively use the larger, more expensive post signs


Knock Knock

I will…deliver flyers to local residents inviting them to open house events and speaking to them directly, making them aware that the property is for sale. A lock box will be installed for other sales representatives to show your home while you’re working or going about your life


Shopping Mall Kiosk

I will…ensure your home's feature sheet is displayed at our high traffic Kiosk in the Willowbrook Shopping Mall.


Print Advertising

I will…advertise your home for sale using traditional print materials such as Newspapers

 

Internal Promotion

I will…advise all of my HomeLife Realty associates of your property details.  We want as many other agents aware of your property as possible...they may have a buyer looking for a home just like yours

 

External Promotion

I will…contact as many as 3000 Realtors in the Fraser Valley via email advising them of your home.  Even if a Realtor works for a company other than HomeLife, we want to invite them to view and help sell your home


Open House

I will…hold your house open to the public and other agents (with your permission).  I will ensure that your home is presented positively and professionally


Other than pricing your home correctly, one of the most important aspects in selling your home is exposing it to as many people as possible.  We want both the general public as well as the 12,000+ Realtors in the Lower Mainland to know that your home is available for sale.  Although each and every home is different, most will benefit from these traditional Real Estate marketing methods
